Join us for SUP Yoga, one of the most amazingly fun and invigorating yet peaceful and relaxing experiences you can have in Connecticut. Our SUP Yoga classes are guaranteed to give you a unique experience as you enjoy the fusion of an ancient wellness practice with one of the hottest new paddle sports. Each class begins with basic Stand Up Paddle boarding instruction from our experienced SUP guides at Collinsville Canoe and Kayak. You’ll quickly master the balance and stroke required on the board and use your new paddling skills to make your way up river for about 45 minutes while taking in the beauty that surrounds you. Once there, all our SUP yogis will take a seated posture on their board and our certified yoga teacher will guide you to a centered state of being before leading you through a fun, exploration of yoga on a floating, outdoor mat. You’ll drift back toward the starting point carried gently by the river’s current and light winds. As you approach the end, a blissful relaxation pose awaits to complete your experience. All classes are held on the Farmington River in historic downtown Collinsville - a fun destination unto itself. After class, you can enjoy a meal at one of our local restaurants, peruse arts and crafts at local galleries or shop for antiques. |
