Partner Yoga Workshop

and Wine and Cheese Social

Sunday, February 12th

$50 per couple (tax included)

A minimum pre-registration of 5 couples is required for this workshop to run.

Bring your best friend, mom, dad, sibling or valentine for a partner yoga class. We'll playfully take turns within yoga postures with the assistance of our partner to help deepen our experience. We'll also learn postures to be in together using our bodies and sense of balance to support one another with ease. Partner yoga is a wonderful, easy way to deepen your own sensitivity to another and perfect to celebrate Valentines a little early!

Stay after class for a complimentary wine and cheese social!

No prior experience is necessary. Preregistration required by February 10th, 5 couple minimum required to hold this session. Space is limited to 10 couples.

Belly Dance Zils Series

3 Sessions

Thursdays, Starting February 16th
7:00pm to 8:15pm

$45 per person

Come learn the use of Zils (finger cymbals) in this ancient art with other beginners to strengthen and shape your body, discover more passion and freedom, and connect with a community of fellow dancers. No previous dance experience is necessary.

What to wear/bring: Wear comfortable leggings so we can see your legs and knees for better instruction. Bring a water bottle for hydrating (yes, we will have a workout!) and your awesome attitude.

You will leave feeling energized and smiling! Kalia will provide jingly scarves.

Yoga Nidra

We live in a busy, hurry up world of technical overload, sensory stimulation, and chronic fatigue brought on by stress. Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that is intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is the equivalent of 4 hours of sleep. The class will begin with a brief asana practice followed by Yoga Nidra which will last approximately one hour.

Some benefits of Yoga Nidra include:
- Highly effective in removing stress.
- The quality of sleep can improve dramatically.
- Shifts pressures from the coronary system.
- Exerts positive influence on the physical matter in the brain.
- Changes nature of the mind along the positive lines.

Please wear layers and dress comfortably.

Kids Yoga
for boys and girls ages 6 to 10

Thursdays, Starting March 1st

4:00 to 5:00pm

A minimum pre-registration of 5 students

is required for this series to run.

Yoga is not just for grown-ups! All of the benefits that adults derive from a regular yoga practice are available to the young people in your life as well!

This series of specially developed one-hour sessions will offer children opportunities to enjoy yoga postures, deep breathing, and a long relaxation period.


During the active portion of classes, children will develop skills to assist in their coordination and balance.

Then, as the class moves toward its quiet ending, participants will learn to slow down and calm themselves when necessary.

Sessions are led by Terry Wolfisch Cole, RYT-200 certified yoga teacher, Girl Scout leader, and mother of two.

Girlyoga

for girl teens and tweens

In these specially-created, 90-minute workshops, we will unwind together while exploring skills and techniques to address and meet the girls' needs including:

- yoga postures       - deep breathing

- meditation             - relaxation

- healthy eating       - massage

- aromatherapy        - journaling

Sessions are led by Terry Wolfisch Cole, RYT-200 certified yoga teacher, Girl Scout leader, and mother of a teenage daughter.

Alignment Yoga - Top 10 Poses

$22 per person (tax included)

A minimum pre-registration of 5 couples is required for this workshop to run.

This workshop will teach you the basics of yoga and help you feel comfortable joining any class on our schedule.

For more advanced students, this workshop will also approach alignment that can help anyone take their practice to a new level. Proper alignment in backbends, forward bends, twists, and standing postures will all be addressed.

If you have ever wondered where to put your hands and feet, fingers and toes, this class is for you! Poses we will cover: mountain pose, downward facing dog, plank, cobra, upward facing dog, triangle, warrriors 1 and 2 and set up for several balancing positions.
